  • Prof. Sun’s current research centers on developing effective delivery systems for biomacromolecules such as proteins, genes and vaccines. Her group has developed various micro- and nano-particulate delivery systems for these biomacromolecules which can efficiently overcome the biological barriers and target to their action sites.
  • Prof. Sun has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers as the corresponding author. She filed 31 patents and contributed chapters to 8 books.
  • The research of Prof. Sun has been supported by NSFC, 7th Framework Programme of European Union, Ministry of Education in China and a cooperative project with the University of Central Lancashire.
